Watkins Glen is a village in Schuyler County of the State of New York in the United States. It had 1,859 inhabitants in 2010. Watkins Glen is the administrative seat ( county seat ) of Schuyler County. Despite this property, Watkins Glen is not an independent municipality, but divided among the cities Dix and Reading.

Watkins Glen is located on the southern shore of Seneca Lake, one of the glacial Finger Lakes that are located in the western part of the State of New York. At the edge of the village of Watkins Glen State Park begins. Internationally, the place is also the venue of rallies, famous motorsport race track Watkins Glen International and the Watkins Glen Grand Prix.
