Geography
The Town of Watterstown is located in southwestern Wisconsin, on the south bank of the Wisconsin River, a left tributary of the Iowa border to forming Mississippi. The Town surrounds the north- east, the independent municipality Blue River without them belonging to the Town. The border with Illinois is located approximately 85 km south.

Traffic
The Wisconsin State Highway 133 and County Highway M and T pass through the Town of Watterstown. All other roads are minor roads and partly unpaved roadways.
Along the Wisconsin River runs for freight railway line of the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad, which continues from the Mississippi River to Madison and from there to Milwaukee.
Directly with the Boscobel Airport behind the western boundary of the Town, a small airfield. The next airports are Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa ( about 100 km south) and the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison Wisconsin's capital city ( some 120 km to the east ).
