Watthana Nakhon District

Amphoe Watthana Nakhon ( Thai: อำเภอ วัฒนานคร ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the eastern region of central Thailand near the border with Cambodia. It belongs to the province of Sa Kaeo.

Geography

Neighbouring districts ( from east clockwise): Amphoe Ta Phraya which, Khok Sung, Aranyaprathet, Khlong Hat, Wang Nam Yen, Khao Chakan, Mueang Sa Kaeo Province Sa Kaeo, Amphoe Khon Buri and the Soeng Sang of Nakhon Ratchasima and Amphoe non Din Daeng province of Buriram.

Education

In Amphoe Watthana Nakhon is the addition Campus Sa Kaeo of Burapha University.

Management

Amphoe Watthana Nakhon is in eleven communes ( tambon) divided, which in turn in 112 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

Watthana Nakhon is a town ( thesaban tambon), it consists of parts of the tambon Watthana Nakhon.

There are also 11 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" ( TAO - administrative units ).
