Waukesha Engine

The Company Waukesha Engines was founded in 1906 in Waukesha (Wisconsin ) and is now a belonging to General Electric manufacturer of large, stationary gas engines. Past you built smaller engines, including for automobiles and tractors.

Before the Second World War, the engine manufacturer provided the side-valve two-cylinder boxer engines for the automotive manufacturer Crosley.

In 1968 it was bought Waukesha engines from Bangor Punta.

1974 acquired Dresser Industries Waukesha engines.

In 1989, the Dutch motor manufacturer Brons was Industrie NV taken.
