The Town of Wauzeka is one of eleven Towns in Crawford County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, the Town of Wauzeka 422 inhabitants.
Town has a fundamentally different meaning than in other English-speaking area in Wisconsin. Rather, it corresponds to the usual in the other U.S. states townships that make up the next smallest administrative unit of the County.
Geography
The Town of Wauzeka located in southwest Wisconsin on the north shore of the Wisconsin River, a left tributary of the Mississippi. This is the 25 km west running border with Iowa. In the middle of the Town Kickapoo River opens into the Wisconsin River. According to Minnesota is approximately 65 km north-north- westerly direction; the border with Illinois 95 runs south.

Traffic
The Wisconsin State Highway 60 runs along the Wisconsin River while passing through the eastern part of the Town of Wauzeka area in north-south direction of the Wisconsin State Highway 131. All other roads are minor roads and partly unpaved roadways.
Along the Wisconsin River runs a range of Wisconsin and Southern Railroad, which continues from the Mississippi River to Madison and from there to Milwaukee for freight traffic.
With the Boscobel Airport is located about 20 east-northeast a small airfield. The next airports are the Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa ( about 115 km south), the La Crosse Regional Airport ( around 110 km north- north-west ) and the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison Wisconsin's capital ( 140 km east ).
