Wawrzyńcowice
Lorenz village, Polish Wawrzyńcowice, is a town in Upper Silesia. Lorenz village located in the municipality Small Strehlitz ( Strzeleczki ) in Krapkowicki powiat ( county Krappitz ) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Geographical Location
Lorenz village is located seven kilometers south-west of the municipal center Strehlitz Klein, 12 kilometers southwest of the county town of Krapkowice ( Krappitz ) and 29 kilometers south of the voivodship Opole.

Neighboring towns of Lawrence village in the north are Kujau ( Kujawy ), in the southeast Neuvorwerk ( But) and in the south Zowade ( Zawada ) and Mutzkau ( Mucków ).
History
The town was first mentioned in 1679. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS.
In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Wawrzyńcowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to powiat Krapkowicki. On 17 May 2006, the German Lorenz village was in the village of Klein Strehlitz, plays, introduced as a second official language. On 24 November 2008, the City also received the official German place names Lorenz village.
