Wawrzyniec Żuławski
Wawrzyniec Żuławski ( born February 14, 1916 in Warsaw, † August 18, 1957 at Mont Blanc) was a Polish composer.
He was the son of the writer Jerzy Żuławski. His works belong to the direction of modern music, which is based on old-style agents. Catchy melodies, rhythmic and harmonic simplicity and a classic design with little originality, but clean compositional structure, determined his style. From 1945 to 1949 he was a professor at the Conservatory in Lodz; In 1950 he went to Warsaw. Żuławski was an avid mountaineer and died in an avalanche on Mont Blanc.
