Wayfarers Chapel

The Wayfarers Chapel is a church of the Swedenborgian in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

The church was designed by Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1949-1951 as a memorial to Emanuel Swedenborg. It is characterized by a decidedly modern architecture and its location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The church is decorated by geometrical patterns that are typical of the architecture of Wright. Thus also the theosophical principle of order in the world is carried by God invoice. This orientation corresponds to the integration of the surrounding nature in the construction.

In later years the church tower and a visitor center were added.

The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places of the United States.
