Wayne Black

Wayne Hamilton Black ( born November 14, 1973 in Harare ) is a former Zimbabwean tennis players.

Life

Black is the brother of the also successful in double Byron Black and Cara Black tennis player. He was able to win during his career 18 titles in doubles competitions and reached 15 other finals. Greatest success was winning the U.S. Open in 2001 and the Australian Open 2005 with compatriot Kevin Ullyett. Already in 2000 he was the first to reach a Grand Slam final at the Australian Open, but was defeated here by Andrew Kratzmann in five sets Ellis Ferreira and Rick Leach. In mixed he could also win two Grand Slam titles to his sister Cara page. The two were successful at the French Open in 2002 and Wimbledon in 2004.
