We Are Scientists

We Are Scientists is an American indie rock band from New York.

History

The three New York Keith Murray, Chris Cain and Michael Tapper walked together in the same university. Chris and Michael have known each other and had already made music together. Together with Keith Murray as frontman they began in 2000, her career as indie - rock band.

On one pub night they let their imagination run merrily bubbling and wrote " totally funny " song title on a napkin. They agreed that it would be a shame to let them rot on the paper. All they now lacked was a fitting band name. The delivered them promptly by a forwarder. When the band wanted to move in together in a house, she asked the driver of the moving truck if they were brothers ( "Are you brothers ?"). Since this was not the case, he asked one more time: " Are you scientists".

Drummer Michael Tapper left on 1 November 2007, the band because he was stressed out from the constant touring life. He lives with his girlfriend in Los Angeles, while the other band members live in New York. The band at the time had found a drummer for the current tour, but the collaboration was planned only for a few months. A full replacement had not been decided at the time. However, betrayed Dominic Howard, the drummer for the band Muse in an interview that his close friend Andy Burrows, former drummer of Razorlight, would import with the band soon some new songs. Since 2009, Burrows is now a permanent member of the band with him was also published on 18 June 2010 recorded album Barbara.
