WE.177

WE.177 is the name of a British nuclear bomb. It was held ready for use from 1966 to 1998. It was here at the last nuclear bomb Britain. There were three variants namely the WE.177A with an explosive yield of about 10 kilotons, the WE.177B with an explosive force of up to 200 kilotons and the WE.177C with an explosive force of up to 400 kilotons. The last WE.177 were retired in March 1998 and scrapped in August of the same year.
