Webb Simpson

James Frederick Webb Simpson ( born August 8, 1985 in Raleigh, North Carolina) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR.

After a successful amateur career Simpson was professional golfers in June 2008 and first played at the invitation base on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour 's second lined up where he could reach two second places. About the Qualifying School, he was able to acquire the start authorization for the PGA Tour in 2009 and secure with good results the Next whereabouts.

2011 Simpson won two tournaments, finished the season in second place in the FedEx Cup and played in the victorious selection of the USA in the Presidents Cup. In 2013 he was a member of the successful U.S. Selection at Presidents Cup.

On June 17, 2012, he won the U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco and moved in the golf world rankings temporarily up to fifth place.
