Wędzice

Wędzice ( German Vandüz ) is a dwelling-place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland.

The living space is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg).

The living area, founded as a reduction of about 1.5 km north located village Gandelin, appeared under his name Vandüz first time in official maps in the first half of the 20th century. The origin of the name is unknown, maybe it's a field name or the name of the owner. In the official lists Vandüz however, was not run as a separate living space.

Before 1945 Vandüz belonged as part of the rural community Gandelin for Kolberg- Körlin in Pomerania.

After the Second World War came Vandüz how completely Pomerania to Poland. The place was given the Polish name Wędzice. He is now part of Gmina Siemyśl (Town Simötzel ) and with this the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberger circle).
