Weidemann GmbH is an international company for agricultural machinery based in Diemelsee- Flechtdorf in Waldeck- Frankenberg in Hesse. It produces Hoftracs, wheel loaders, telescopic loaders and telescopic handlers classic, which are preferably used on farms while feeding, sprinkling, crap, loading and stacking. The company is based Diemelsee- Flechtdorf and Korbach. The company is part of the Wacker Neuson Group.

History

Maschinenfabrik Weidemann KG was founded in 1960 in Diemelsee- Flechtdorf (Hessen). Initially, the company concentrated 1960-1972 in the production of barn equipment systems and Entmistungen. 1972 invented the Weidemann Hoftrac ® or Hoflader. This small articulated machine has been specially designed for narrow and low stables.

In 1979 the company was renamed to Weidemann GmbH and Co. KG. In the following years Weidemann continued to expand. In the early 1990s, the first foreign company was founded in the Netherlands and received the operation in Plant III in Gotha ( Thuringia). Today the area in Gotha Used Equipment Centre serves as the Wacker Neuson Group.

In 2005, the former Wacker Construction Equipment AG (now Wacker Neuson SE) Weidemann, making a further expansion of production capacity was connected. In 2007, the production plant in Korbach was completed. Weidemann GmbH is now a 100 % owned subsidiary of Wacker Neuson SE.

The distribution of Weidemann machines is globally in over 30 countries through its own organizations in close cooperation with dealers. Since 1960, Weidemann has more than 65,000 machines produced (as of 2011 ).
