The pond digging ( in the lower reaches Stöpelbach ) is a river in Central Franconian district of Wissembourg -Gunzenhausen ( Bavaria).
He entfließt the Kühweiher (hence the name pond digging ) about 1800 m north- west of the village Alesheim in the forest area at an altitude of Loholz 438 m above sea level. NN. After him the Brünnleingraben has fed, it flows through the pond and horse mackerel reached thereafter, together with the Störzelgraben and the Störzelbach, southwest of Alesheim the Altmühltherme.
