Weinbergen

Vineyards is a municipality in Unstrut Hainich in Thuringia. It was created on 30 June 1994 as part of the local government reform by the merger of the municipalities Bollstedt, grave, Höngeda and Seebach. Nationally known is located in the municipality of State Ornithological Station Seebach.

Geography

Location

The municipality vineyards connects to the city of Mühlhausen / Thuringia in the northwest. In the northeast it borders on grains, on the southeast by the administrative community (VG ) Unstrut Hainich based in Großengottern and to the west by the VG bailiwick. The municipality lies in the altitude between 182 m above sea level at the Unstrut near Seebach and 389.8 m above sea level on the nearby forest in the north mountain.

The municipal administration has its headquarters in Bollstedt.

Waters

The municipality vineyards is traversed by the Unstrut and its tributaries Notter and Seebach.

Traffic

Through the municipal area extend the federal highway 247 in the section Mulhouse - Bad Langensalza and the federal highway 249 which connects Mulhouse with special Hausen.

Bollstedt is connected to the city bus to the city of Mühlhausen.

In the northwest of the municipality is the route of the disused railway line Ebeleben Mulhouse with the former breakpoints Bollstedt and tomb runs. The tracks and bridges were dismantled in 2007. The closest connection to the railway network consists today in Mühlhausen on the railway line Gotha - line field.

Climate
