Holtzmann & Cie.. AG - way Bach factory with a total of five plants, three of them in the Murg Valley, and over 5,500 employees. This paper group even had its own postal address " 7566 Weisenbach factory", as the sprawling grounds of the Murg Valley - plants extended over the districts of the past four municipalities. Following the acquisition of AG by the Finnish-Swedish paper company Stora Enso, the area was shut down with his works in 1995. Over 100 years old, traditional company was wound up completely, solely the work Wolfsheck, which lies on the boundary of the neighboring municipality of Forbach - long fire, remained as Stora Enso's production facility in the Murg Valley. This work, however, was sold by Stora Enso in 2006 for a symbolic sum of € Arques Industries. From 1 September 2006, this former Holtzmann - production facility was under the specially established company Salto Paper Wolfsheck paper mill. In July 2007 the factory was sold again to another strategic investor, which it closed down in 2008.

What is left out of the field of paper / cardboard processing and the core outskirts Weisenbach direction Freudenstadt, right on the B462 lying, is the manufacturer Katz GmbH & Co. KG, which emerged from the Katz International Coasters, in turn, emerged from the outwork of the former Gernsbacher Katz Werke AG - which is the world's largest specialist manufacturer for Beverage coasters ( coasters ) today.

Also incorporated with a so-called external work is the cardboard and packaging manufacturer Smurfit Kappa Baden Packaging. This factory part is due to the Gemarkungsgrenze way Bach / Gernsbach on Weisenbacher area, but one of production technology for Gernsbacher main work.

The municipality acquired the business part of the former Schlechtau Holtzmann area, which lies within the Gemarkungsgrenze order to set up an industrial park. First, the church yard due to the better spatial conditions and storage facilities was located there again.
