Weissenborn

Hermann C. Weissenborn (* 1865, † January 1937 in Los Angeles ) is a German -American instrument maker and especially for the instrument named after him ( Weissenborn ) become known.

He emigrated in 1902 from Germany and settled first settled in New York. In the period from 1912 until his death in 1937 he built in his workshop in Los Angeles ukuleles, guitars and played by many professional guitarists Hawaiian guitar Weissenborn.
