Weißer See (Potsdam)

The White Lake is located in the north of the Brandenburg state capital Potsdam between the hamlets Nedlitz and Fahrland. It has a length of 1.2 km and a maximum width of 340 m. The lake has a natural connection on the Nedlitzer old drive to Lehnitzsee and Jungfernsee making it one of the Havel lakes.

The entire lake is part of the federal waterway Sacrow - Paretzer channel ( waterway class IV), which shortens the Potsdamer Havel bow and is a section of the Lower Havel waterway, responsible is the Waterways and Shipping Office Brandenburg. The section of the Sacrow - Paretzer channel between White Lake and Jungfernsee is called Nedlitzer puncture.
