Weitersweiler
Weitersweiler is a municipality in the Thunder Mountain district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Göllheim.
Geographical location
The municipality is situated on the north Häferbach the Palatinate Forest, between Kaiserslautern and Worms. In the north- west is Bennhausen, in the southeast Dreisen. 81% of the district area is used for agriculture.

The local council in Weitersweiler consists of eight council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Blazon: In Red St. Bartholomew in a silver robe with blue cape, beard, hair and Nimbus golden, in his right hand a martinet knife and a plate holding with the left hand, the share of black and silver with three spindles in confused tinctures.
Culture and sights
- About Weitersweiler area lead the Westpfalz trail, and two trails of the Palatinate Forest Club.
- The Jewish cemetery east of Weitersweiler is a protected cultural monument. 21 grave stones have been preserved from the period 1772-1917.
