Weiyang District, Yangzhou

Weiyang (Chinese维扬 区) was a municipality in the Chinese province of Jiangsu. He belonged to the administrative territory of the prefecture-level city of Yangzhou. Weiyang had an area of 87 km ² and had approximately 280,000 inhabitants ( 2004). On October 22, 2011, he was dissolved and annexed to the municipality Hanjiang.
