Welcome Back My Friends to the Show That Never Ends ... Ladies and Gentlemen, Emerson, Lake & Palmer is a live album by the British progressive rock band Emerson, Lake and Palmer. The album was created in 1974 initially, and later released on three LPs on two CDs.
1973 and 1974 were Emerson, Lake & Palmer on their Someone Get Me a Ladder tour worldwide. The album's title comes from the first line of text of the song " Karn Evil 9: First Impression, Part 2 " and served at the beginning of the concert to greet the fans.
The album reached # 4 on the Billboard charts and thus the best chart position an album of ELP in the USA.
