Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute

The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute is an internationally renowned, British Genome Research Institute near Cambridge. It played a major role in the Human Genome Project.

The institute was named after the two-time Nobel Prize winner Frederick Sanger. It is located on a campus of the Wellcome Trust in Hinxton, a village near Cambridge, UK.
