The Wellesley College is an American private university for women. Many now famous personalities studied there.

The Wellesley College was founded in 1870 by Henry Fowle Durant and his wife Pauline. Today it's claim of College, "Women who are mean something in the world to provide an excellent education ."

The private college in Wellesley (about 27 km west of Boston), offers a study in the " Liberal Arts "; the students receive a bachelor 's degree after four years of study. The university is one of the Seven Sisters ( Seven Sisters, a coalition of American women's colleges ) and has about 2,300 students. In the ranking of the magazine U.S. News & World Report, the College regularly takes a one of the top five places among the " liberal arts " colleges in the USA and each time rated as the best women's college in this category.
