Wellington Luís de Sousa

Wellington ( born February 11, 1988 in Ourinhos, São Paulo, Luís de Sousa actually Wellington ) is a Brazilian footballer. He plays mainly on the position of center forward.

Career

Wellington played in the youth for the SC Internacional and began there in 2007 and his professional career. In the same year he was awarded the AD São Caetano. In 2008 he played on loan at Náutico Capibaribe before SC Internacional Wellington sold on 7 August 2008 at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. 7 February 2009 Wellington scored a game against Borussia Mönchengladbach his first Bundesliga goal with a header in the 89th minute after he was previously loaded until the 86th minute.

In the 2009 summer break Wellington was loaned until season's end to the Dutch first division club FC Twente. After there was no interest in buying part of Twente, they decided to rent it for the 2010/11 season to the second division Fortuna Dusseldorf. Fortuna also received an option to purchase. In December 2010, the loan agreement, after Wellington had scored a goal in six games for the Fortuna, prematurely terminated by mutual agreement.

In January 2011, Wellington was awarded for the third time. The lending with the Figueirense FC was originally run from January to December 2011. The loan agreement was terminated early in July 2011 and Wellington was further awarded to Goiás EC. His loan contract ran until the end of the year. He was subsequently awarded until season's end to the CA Linense. After the end of the loan be running until June 30, 2013 Treaty of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim was dissolved.

On 29 December 2008 Wellington was the first time father. His wife gave birth to a daughter in Heidelberg.
