Wellington Partners

Wellington Partners is a pan-European venture capital firm with offices in London, Munich, Zurich and Palo Alto and a fund volume of around 800 million euros. It invests across Europe Private equity in the start- up and growth, particularly in the areas of digital media, cleantech and life sciences.

History

In 1991, Rolf Christof Dienst Wellington Partners, after he had already built up in the 1980s with TVM Capital one of the first and to date largest venture capital firms. 1998 launched its first fund Wellington Partners, Wellington Partners I, which in 2000 was followed by a second fund with a volume of 210 million euros. Also at the request of investors put Wellington Partners in 2004 first pure technology funds more than 150 million euros in 2006 a Life Science Fund. In early 2008, the company completed its latest technology funds over 265 million euros.
