Wenddorf is a municipality in the district of Angern Borde in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography
Wenddorf east of Colbitz - Letzlinger Heide is located in the area of Tangier- source streams, the fan-shaped flow towards Tangerhütte. Area Wend village is undulating and rises to the west gradually. The city Wolmirstedt is about 19 km away.
History
The place name derives from the earlier settled here contact from (one of the numerous streams near Wenddorf is still called Wendischer Bach). Its history is closely connected with the Angerns and its moated castle.
On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Wenddorf, Bertingen and Mahlwinkel merged with the town of Angern to the new town of Angern.
