Wendell Alexis

Wendell Alexis ( born July 31, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is a retired American professional basketball player who was very successful, especially in Europe.

The father ( 3 children ) received during his time at Alba Berlin nicknamed Iceman, since he showed little emotion on the field and strong nerves achieved the important points.

The insolvency of the MBC in early 2004, he experienced a somewhat unfortunate career end.

On 12 September 2008 Alexis was hired as the new assistant coach of the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League after he was also an assistant coach at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen (New Jersey ) and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. At NJIT, he was in the 2007/ 08 season even interim coach after head coach Jim Casciano had to leave the team.
