Wendisch Priborn

Wendish Priborn is a municipality in the east of the county Ludwigslust - Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Plau am See.

Geography and transport

Wendish Priborn located about four kilometers north of Meyenburg and about 15 kilometers south of Plau am See. In the south, the municipality borders the state of Brandenburg. On the southern boundary of the municipality is the source of Dosse. Several hills in the municipality reach over 100 m above sea level. NHN. The highest point ( 105.3 m above sea level. NHN ) is located in the northeast. It outweigh agricultural land. Only a few areas are wooded.

The community is located east of Federal Highway 103 The Federal Highway 19 (about 15 km ) is on the junction Robel / Müritz and the Federal Highway 24 (about 10 miles) over the Meyenburg accessible.

Wendish Priborn is located on the currently busy with a sporadic excursion traffic railway Güstrow Meyenburg. The nearest train station with regular passenger is Meyenburg as the starting point of the railway line Meyenburg Neustadt ( Dosse).
