Wendish goods is a district of the city in the district of Ludwigsburg, Goldberg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).

Geography and transport

The village is located about three kilometers east of Goldberg on the southern shore of lake Goldberger and on the southern edge of the Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heath. Largest lake in the area is the Woostener lake. In the south, there are three major wetlands, the Wulfsmoor that Brasch Moor and the wetland in Rabenhorst.

About the federal highway 192 can be reached by Goldberg from the federal highway 19 after about twelve kilometers to the junction Malchow. Between 1887 and 1996, also was in place a breakpoint on the railway line Wismar -Karow. The route is now used for trolley rides.

For the former municipality Wendish Were the districts included Wendish goods, Woosten, Finkenwerder, New Woosten and brickyard.

History

Wendish goods was mentioned as a turning Warne 's first documented in 1296. The name is derived from vranŭ for crow or raven.

The formerly independent municipality Wendish goods, in the end of 2010 lived 374 persons, was incorporated on January 1, 2012 in the city of Goldberg.
