Wendy Moten

Wendy Moten ( born November 22, 1965 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American soul singer.

Moten attended Overton High School in Memphis and later worked as a singer in an ensemble of Amusement Liberty country. During her studies at the University of Memphis, she sang in small clubs until she was hired by Kevin Paige, a former classmate as a background singer in his band. In 1991 she discovered the producer Dick Williams, who convinced her to record a demo tape.

After she performed with Michael Bolton, she signed a recording contract with EMI / ERG. In 1992, the named after her debut album. Two more albums, Time for Change and Christmastime were released only in Japan. In 1996 the so far last album Life's What You Make It
