Wengernalp

The Wengernalp is an alp altitude of 1'874 m. M. between Wengen and the Kleine Scheidegg is located. Reachable from on foot or by Wengernalpbahn of Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg and by skis from Kleine Scheidegg.

1841, the Hôtel de la Virgin was opened, which was rebuilt after a fire in 1865.

Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Richard Wagner, Peter Tchaikovsky and many others spent holidays on the Wengernalp.
