Wenling

The city of Wenling (温岭 市, Wēnlǐng Shì ) is a county-level city in the prefecture-level city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China. It has an area of ​​836 km ² and has 1.15 million inhabitants.

The lock Bridges of Xin He ( Xin He zhaqiao qun新 河闸 桥 群) - the four bridges Zhongzha中 闸, Cizha糍 闸, Beizha北 闸and Xialuzha下 卢 闸- standing since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-541 ).

Since October 2009, Wenling has connection to the high-speed network of railways.

Curiosities

In November 2012 saw the coverage of a related Wenling called dingzihu ( nail house ) for worldwide attention to a multi-lane road that was built around it, after the owner refused to sell.
