Tagebaurestsee and bird sanctuary

The Werbelin lake is an approximately 450 -acre Tagebaurestsee, which was created by flooding from the former mining Delitzsch- southwest. The lake is located in the Saxon Lakeland, south of the town of Delitzsch and north of Leipzig.

Location

The Werbelin lake located in the northwest of the Free State of Saxony, at an altitude of about 78 m above sea level. NN. History
