Weser-Leine-Express

Weser-Leine -Express ( RE 70) in North Rhine -Westphalia is the name of a regional express Zuglaufes which connects in East Westphalia-Lippe, the regional center of Bielefeld and Minden with the Lower Saxony regional centers of Hanover and Braunschweig. He also notes the major Ostwestverkehr on in this area. For the section in NRW a particular country of interest was found. The route shall work closely with the RE Rheine - connected Braunschweig - Minden. Between Minden and Biickeburg the border is passed to Lower Saxony.

History and Future

Since the introduction of the integral interval timetable (NRW -stroke ) in 1998, the connection Bielefeld Brunswick in North Rhine-Westphalia is called RE 70 and the name of the Weser -Leine Express.
