Wesley Snipes

Wesley Trent Snipes ( born July 31, 1962 in Orlando, Florida ) is an American actor.

Life

Wesley Snipes grew up with his mother in New York's South Bronx. At the "High School for the Performing Arts " in New York, he majored in dance, singing and acting. Later he studied at the " State University of New York" theater spectacle.

Although he received some supporting roles in films and television series, and participated in various stage plays on Broadway, he could not live by his profession as an actor, dancer and singer for a long time. On 12 October 2006 Snipes was indicted for tax fraud. He first withdrew the arrest warrant, but was arrested on 8 December 2006 in Florida; threatened him up to 16 years in prison. He is said to have paid a lot of 1999 to low income tax until 2004 and also fraudulently by misrepresentation almost twelve million U.S. dollars in repayments. On 24 April 2008 Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for tax fraud. However, he remained at large on bail until the appeal court had rendered its judgment.

On July 16, 2010, an appeals court in Atlanta rejected his appeal against the judgment vorinstanzliche. On 1 December 2010 a judge ruled that Snipes no longer should live in freedom and must arrive in prison on December 9. Thus Snipes ' request was to be allowed to remain at liberty, as long as the Supreme Court of the United States ruling on his appeal, rejected that. Snipes began his sentence on time in federal prison in northwest Pennsylvania McKean on. His dismissal was planned for the 19th of July, 2013, but was released early from prison on April 2, 2013, and remained until July 19, 2013 in house arrest.

In 2013 he was given at the request of action icon Sylvester Stallone offering a role in the third part of the trilogy Expendables, which he accepted.

Snipes had a brief relationship with the Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry. He runs martial arts and contributes inter alia, the fourth Dan ( Yondan ) in Shotokan Karate. He is married since 2003 to his second wife and father of five children.
