West Asian Football Federation

The West Asian Football Federation ( WAFF, German: West Asian Football Federation ) is a football association for the West Asian Football national associations. It was founded in 2001 by the associations of Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria. In 2009, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Yemen joined the Association. With the accession of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman in 2010 are now all West Asian nations member of WAFF. The Association will host several competitions, including West Asia Championship for men and women and the U-15 Championship and the Futsal Championship.
