West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana

The West Baton Rouge Parish (French: Paroisse de Baton Rouge Ouest ) is a parish located in the state of Louisiana in the United States. In 2010, the Parish had 23,788 inhabitants and a population density of 48.1 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( Parish Seat), Port Allen.

History

West Baton Rouge Parish was formed in 1807 as one of the 19 original Parishes. 1812 took place then the division into East and West.
