The City of West Valley City in Salt Lake County in the U.S. state of Utah, with 129 480 inhabitants, the second largest city in Utah. The town was founded in 1980 from the towns of Hunter, Granger, Chesterfield, which had grown together in the 1970s as suburbs of Salt Lake City.
