Westende

West End is a village on the Belgian coastal resort. It belongs to the municipality of Middelkerke, West Flanders province.

West end has two stations of the Kusttram, the longest tram line in the world. It is a quiet, relaxing town, which is why it is also called the Pearl of the Coast ( Parel van de kust ). The place is divided into West End Dorp, which lies a little in the rear and West -Bad. Behind the dunes, large campsites and bungalow parks are located. The area is especially inviting a sightseeing. Ostende, De Panne, Furnes, Bruges, Dunkirk, De Haan and many smaller towns in the hinterland are featured starting stations.
