Western Design Center (WDC ) is an American production and development company of microprocessors, which is located in Mesa, Arizona. The company is based on the developed by MOS Technology 65xx microprocessors, microcontrollers ( μCs ), and other manufactures kinds of chips. WDC was founded in 1978 by the co-owner of the MOS Technology 6502 patent, Bill Mensch, who is also an employee of MOS was before.
