Western Division, Fiji

The Western Division is one of four divisions of Fiji. It unites the provinces of Ba, Nadroga - Navosa and Ra.

The capital of the division is Lautoka, the influence of the Western Division of the western part of the largest island of Fiji, Viti Levu and several smaller islands ( Yasawa Islands, Viwa, Waya and Velulele ). In addition, the division has a land border with the Central Division on Viti Levu and maritime in the Northern Division and the Eastern Division.

In census 2007, the population of the division was 319 611 persons, this set ever assembled about half of Fijians and Fiji Indians.
