Westhausen, Gotha
West Hausen is a municipality in the district of Gotha, Thuringia. It belongs to the administrative community median Nessetal.
Location
West Hausen is on the main road 247 between Gotha and Bad Langensalza in the Valley of Nesse. North of West Hausen the ball townspeople height is (309 meters above sea level ).
History
The place was first mentioned 974.
In the pond of the village remains testify to a high medieval manor. The castle had backup function for the location and Gotha to the north ( Bad Langensalza ) leading road ( now the B247 ).
2012 seven large wind turbines with a hub height of 119 m and 56 m long rotor blades are built at West Hausen.
