Westinghouse J34

The Westinghouse J34 is a turbojet turbojet engine, which was developed in the late 1940s. It emerged from the J30 and was known by the use of different experimental aircrafts.

The J34 uses a 11- stage compressor unit, a two -stage turbine and a nonadjustable propelling nozzle. In later versions, the engines were also equipped with an afterburner.

The boat, the Australian Ken Warby on October 8, 1978 aufstellte the world speed record on the water with was equipped with a J34 -WE -34.
