Westland District

Westland is one of three districts in the region located on the South Island West Coast.

Settlements

Largest city and capital of the district is the good place Hokitika 3000 inhabitants. It is located in the north of the area. Overall, the region is sparsely populated, so that 40 % of the population of the district lives to Hokitika already in the town belt.
