Westphalia (Texas)

Westphalia is a city in the state of Texas.

Location

The location is just south of Waco on State Highway 320

History

1879 the place of Theodore Robroke was founded. This was in 1866 emigrated from Germany. At first he lived in Pennsylvania as a miner. He and his family settled in 1879 at a place in Texas, they called Westphalia. 1895 was the village has a church. A post office was established in 1890 but was closed again in 1895.
