Background information
The film is a mix of documentary and comedy, in this case the reactions of passers-by on the new underground shafts were documented. A. C. Abadie (1878-1950) worked mainly as a cameraman for the Edison Manufacturing Company. In 1903, he became again a roll of film, he played the sheriff in the film The Great Train Robbery. Florence Georgie worked for this film.
