White Castle is the oldest hamburger restaurant chain in the United States. White Castle is known for its square mini burgers, also called " Sliders" called (or " slyders "). The typical architecture of the White Castle restaurants page shows a white castle with battlements on the outer wall.

History

The first restaurant was opened in Wichita (Kansas) by entrepreneur Billy Ingram and his partner, the chef Walter Anderson in 1921. Since 1934, the company's headquarters is located in Columbus (Ohio ).

White Castle played an important role in the stoner comedy Harold & Kumar. Also in the series The King of Queens the chain in various consequences is an issue.
