White Hill (Forest of Bowland)

The White Hill is a mountain in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire, England. The Whitehill has a saddle height of 159 m and a total height of 544 m. On the summit of the mountain is a trigonometric point.

In the Middle Ages the Whitehill marked the northernmost point of the Lordship of the Forest of Bowland.

The Whitendale River and the River Hodder and its tributary the Croasdale Brook arise at White Hill.
