History and construction
The Whitney Boomerang DW 200 is planked a two-seat low-wing monoplane with fixed tricycle landing gear, conventional tail unit and completely metal. The machine was developed by the Dean- Wilson Aviation as a two-seat training aircraft, being designed as a low cost alternative to the Cessna 152 and Piper PA -38 and also approved for instrument flight. The aircraft is powered by a Lycoming O 235.
